What is an order?

Learn what an order is in TOHKN, what happens when you create one, what its statuses are (pending, received, completed, expired, canceled), and why an order might remain as "pending".

An order is the request you create within TOHKN to participate in a specific issuance or investment opportunity.

When you create an order:

  • The indicated amount is reserved (subject to availability).

  • Specific payment instructions are generated for that order.

  • A time window is activated to complete the deposit.

  • The order contains unique details (amount, reference, and instructions) that you must follow exactly.

What are the statuses of an order?

Your order may show different statuses within the app:

Pending The order was created, but the payment has not yet been confirmed or the process has not finished. It could mean:

  • You have not made the payment yet.

  • The payment is processing with your bank or blockchain network.

  • The amount or reference is being verified.

  • Additional compliance validation (KYC) is required.

At this stage, the order is not yet completed.

Received The deposit was confirmed successfully. Your participation in the issuance is secured, subject to the project's conditions. The issuance process may take up to the timeframe indicated in the corresponding opportunity.

Completed The order was processed successfully. The tokens have already been issued and are available in your portfolio.

Expired The payment was not received within the established time, or the issuance reached its maximum quota. In this case, it will be necessary to create a new order if there is still availability.

Canceled The order was canceled. This can happen due to:

  • Non-compliance with conditions.

  • Applicable compliance validations.

  • Lack of information required to process the operation.

If you have questions, you can contact support.

What can cause an order to remain in "Pending" status?

An order may remain in "pending" status when:

  • The received amount does not exactly match the indicated amount.

  • The payment reference is incorrect or incomplete.

  • It is required to complete or update your verification (KYC).

  • Applicable compliance validations are being performed.

This does not necessarily mean there is a problem: in many cases, the order is simply being verified.
